What It Is ?
SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) will receive its first A380 Airbus plane today, 15 October 2007 in Toulouse, France. The world's biggest passenger jet will leave for Singapore a day later, and Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Hsien Loong will be the guest of honour at the welcome ceremony at Changi Airport's Terminal 3 on Wednesday.
The supplier, Airbus is also set to celebrate the first A380-Megaliner-handover to their first customer which is Singapore Airlines today at the Airbus Delivery Centre.

SIA will be the world's first airlines to use the A380. The plane arriving on Wednesday is one of 19 A380s which SIA has ordered from European manufacturer Airbus.
