KUALA LUMPUR BANKS AND MONEY EXCHANGE SERVICES

In central KL the biggest concentration of banks is around. Jl Silang at the northen edge of Chinatown. ATMs are sprinkled throughout the city, especially in shopping centres. Moneychanges offer better rates than banks for changing cash and (sometimes) travellers cheques. They are usually open later hours and on weekends. You will see them in almost every shopping mall, as well as along Lebuh Ampang and near the Klang bus station on Jl Sultan.
