About Taiwan
Taiwan is an island nation in East Asia with a land area comprising of about 36,000 square kilometres. Located off the coast of southeastern China, "Taiwan" is governed by the Republic of China or better known as ROC and has an estimated population of more than 22 million people.

If you plan to fly to Taiwan, there are international flights to Taiwan. The major Taiwanese airline carriers are China Airlines and EVA Air and they offer flights to Taiwan and flights from Taiwan. The Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was previously called Chiang Kai-Shek (CKS) International Airport. The airport is located in Taoyuan.
Another airport in Taiwan is located at the Kaohsiung International Airport.
There are also airports in Taichung and Hualien and they generally cater to smaller number of international passengers however. Taipei's domestic airport is knwon as The Songshan domestic airport.
Taiwan's main international airport, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airpor has direct buses to Taipei, Taichung and other nearby cities.
Shuttle Bus Service In Taiwan
There is a U-Bus company which have shuttle routes to HSR Taoyuan (Jhongli) station where you can board the high-speed trains linking to Jhongli Transit Station to reach for the mainline TRA train.
