New Zealand North Island Package Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival In Auckland
On arrival in Auckland you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy the Explorer bus around Auckland City. Stay at the New President or similar.

North Island New Zealand

Day 2 : Auckland - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua
Travel by coach via Hamilton and Waitomo to Rotorua. The cave tour and glowworm grotto are included. Stay at the Scenic Circle Princess Gate Hotel or similar - 2 nights.

Day 3 : In Rotorua
Your half day tour includes a thermal valley, farm show and trout springs. The afternoon is free.

Day 4 : Rotorua - Lake Taupo
Drive south through the exotic forests to Wairakei and Lake Taupo. Stay at Taupo for 1 night.

Day 5 : Taupo - Wellington
Drive South past the ominous peaks of Tongario, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu that watch over our drive on to Waiouru. Then we drop down to the fertile Manawatu Plains and on to Wellington. Stay at the Sharella Motor Inn or similar - 2 nights

Day 6 : At Wellington
A free day for optional tours or sightseeing. Make sure you visit our National Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa.

Day 7 : Departure from Wellington
Free time until you are transferred to catch your flights.
