11 Days India Amritsar, Dharamsala, Shimla, Delhi and Agra Tour Package Itinerary

Depart Singapore for Amritsar - gateway to India.
Arrive Amritsar airport, on arrival, transfer to Hotel. Amritsar - the holy town and spiritual centre of the Sikh culture.

After breakfast, visit Golden Temple; The city gets its name from the pool - Amritsar (Pool of Nectar).
Later drive to Wagah Border, the India-Pakistan Border - witness an event part circus, part nationalistic ritual - but all spectacle border closing ceremony.
After lunch, we will drive to Dharamsala.

A day to walk around in Dharamsala and Mcleodganj also known as Little Lahsa (capital of Tibet), full of Tibetan people, Tibetan monasteries, colorful Tibetan handicraft shops and small restaurants run by young Tibetans entrepreneurs.
Afternoon drive to visit Dalai Lama's Norbulinga Institute known for its various schools of Tibetan paintings and handicraft training.
Free evening to walk around Dharamsala.

After experiencing the Tibetan philosophy and their life in India, proceed to Manali.
On the way, enjoy scenery of tea estates.
A visit to Andretta, famous artist Shoba Singh's house.
Enroute stop at one of the rock Temple at Baijnath, which dates back to 12 century A.D.
Continue our undulating drive by the old route of Kandi-Kataula and finally in to the valley of Gods, The Kullu Valley.
Spectacular scenery, as you gradually ascending above sea level and the mountains.
Subject to the time, there are few places of interest in Kullu and while your way up to Manali.

A day to explore Manali, the queen of the hill stations.
Our day starts with a visit to a 500 years old wooden carved "Hidimba Devi Temple", Hidimba is the family Goddess of the Royal family of Kullu.
Continues to Old Manali village.
We visit the next village of Goshal and cross our way through River Beas to a very spectacular waterfall called Jogni Fall.
Next village is Vashishat, where you can see or enjoy the hot sulphur in the springs.
If you feel tired of walking, take a tuk tuk ride to the downtown.
Free evening for own activities.

Early morning drive to Shimla.
This journey offers a dramatic changes in nature from to Shivalik Himalayas and then again to the lower Himalayas.
We will be stopping at 8th Century Stone constructed Brijeshwar Mahadev temple and Himachal Photo Gallery at Mandi.

Drive to Chandigarh visiting Kufri and Chail on the way. Kufri at an altitude of 2630m is known for winter sports.
Next drive to Chail, the former 'summer capital' of the Patiala state.
Visit the Maharaja's palace built in 1891.
After lunch drive to Kasauli. On arrival transfer to Hotel.

Early morning transfer to train station to board on fast Shatabedi train leaving 0650 hour and arriving 1000 hour at Delhi.
On arrival shop around Delhi.
After lunch drive to Agra.
In the 16th and 17th century Agra was the capital of India.
Most of its monuments and forts are constructed in that era.
On arrival transfer to the hotel of your choice.

Morning visit Taj Mahal and Red Fort at Agra.
After Lunch, drive to Delhi.
On arrival after dinner, transfer to airport for your scheduled International flight to Singapore
