About Cebu Pacific Air
Cebu Pacific Air is Philippines' version of a low-cost airline based in Pasay City, Manila, the Philippines.
Being the nation's secondary flag carrier, Cebu Pacific is becoming the country's leading low cost domestic airline.
The company has operations for domestic as well as international flight services. There are 2 bases for Cebu Pacific namely the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila and also having a hub at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The budget carrier commences off with 24 domestic flights daily among Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, and Davao City.
However, in 2001, the flight services has grown in demand and has thus increaed the daily number of flights to 80 and covering 18 domestic destinations throughout the Philippines.
Following that, Cebu Pacific has also been given permission rights to inject international flights to around the region such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Guam.
Currently, CEB is the only Philippine carrier to serve a Cebu-Singapore-Cebu flight route after PAL (Philippine Airlines) ceased its direct service. This is in fact a direct competition to both Singapore Airlines subsidiary, SilkAir and Qatar Airways.
