COVID-19 Update - VTL With Indonesia Announced
Singapore will be launching a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) arrangement with Indonesia starting from 29 Nov 2021.
While the move will certainly boost air travel between the 2 countries (for Indonesian cities like Jakarta or Bali), sea travel such as ferry services to neighbouring Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan are still closed for normal tourist visa.
Another thing is Indonesia has not opened its borders for quarantine-free travel from Singapore. That means you will still need to undergo mandatory quarantine upon arrival in Indonesia, regardless of vaccination status.
