Grand Hyatt Fukuoka

This is a 5 star hotel in Fukuoka which we stay. It is conveniently situated right at the city centre next to the Canal City Department Store. First of all, I have to say that the hotel staff are very friendly, efficient in their work and most importantly they have been very helpful towards us even though their command of the English language is rather limited.

The concierge service was excellent with regards to all matters concerned. Most of the places are within walking distance and the nearest subway station is only 10 minutes walk down through an enclosed market.

There is a nice shinto shrine located nearby. All the single rooms are generally spacious, clean and bright. The bathrooms are large. Both check in and check out are quick and done professionally and efficiently. Thumbs up for that.

As with most 5 star hotels, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka also has high prices in its food and drinks which is the only complaint which I have for this hotel. However, as you and I know, that price comes with the territory. Japan is not a cheap country to travel anyway.
