ACCOR To Triple Hotels In China By 2010

ACCOR, which is a large French multinational corporation one of the world’s leading hotel groups, plans to triple its hotels in China by 2010. Besides being the European leader in hotels (Accor Hospitality), ACCOR is also a global leader in corporate services (Accor Services).

According to ACCOR Group in China vice president, Rui Ma, the corporation would invest 2.5 billion euros worldwide by the year 2010. From the 2.5 billion, 600 million euros will go into investing into China. This will thus make China its second largest investment for ACCOR after its headquarters in France. At present, ACCOR has already over 60 hotels in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong (HK) and Macao. The total hotels under ACCOR brand will increase to 180 by 2010. About ACCOR Hotels Accor Hospitality which is the Accor Hotels branch, has over 4,000 hotels located around the world ranging from the most luxurious hotels to the most economic accommodation (eg. Motel 6, Studio 6 In both USA and Canada). Accor Services, another branch of Accor Hotels operates service vouchers to over 430,000 companies and institutions and 30 million users in 40 countries.

They include brand names such as Ticket Restaurant, Luncheon Vouchers, Ticket Alimentaçao, Clean Way, Ticket Service, Childcare Vouchers, Eyecare Vouchers, Bien-Etre à la Carte, Worklife Benefits, EAR, Accentiv’, Académie du Service, Tesorus, Ticket Compliments.
