Founded in the year 1960 as Greenlandair with company headquarters located at Nuuk, Greenland, Air Greenland is Greenland national airline operating transatlantic, domestic, charter flights as well as helicopters for transporting commuters into the domestic airport network.

With a fleet size of 34 aircraft, Greenland Airlines serves flights to 58 cities from its main hub at Kangerlussuaq.
