Stoas bounded the state agora on three sides. In its center stood a rectangular temple dedicated either to Augustus or Isis.
This temple had ten columns on its long sides, and six on its short sides. Its facade contained a statue group that portrayed the legend of Odysseus and Polyphemos.
This statue group was later incorporated into the Fountain of Pollio, and now stands on display in the Ephesus Museum.
