Archaeological Museum, Bijapur
The museum located in the premises of Golgumbaz features antiquities from the period between 1480 and 1680 A.D. These antiquities include porcelain,
coin, miniature paintings, manuscripts and carpets. There are also stone and inscriptions in Kannada, Devanagari, Arabic and Persian exhibited in the museum.
The Tipu Sultan Museum
Set in the former summer palace of Tipu Sultan in Bangalore, the museum mainly exhibits personal items of Tipu Sultan and his family. Elaborately
painted walls and ceilings of this wooden palace depict scenes from wars fought by him, while the interior walls are ornately painted with abstract
