The Singapore F1 Grand Prix is scheduled for Sept 28 2008 and it is not only going to be the largest sporting event ever to be hosted by the Republic Of Singapore
but it will also be an event much anticipated for and talked about event.
The race is set to make history as the world's first-ever night race in history of F1 race plus Singapore is also going to be first country in Asia to host a street race.
Recently, the motorsports governing body known as the FIA had already gave approval to Singapore for a proposed 5.067km street track circuit. The track will provide multiple
overtaking opportunities and very challenging turns for the drivers/racers to make it even more interesting.
A state of the art lighting system will be put in place during the night race such that the lighting system was designed to actually only shine from one side of the track instead
of both sides. This is to prevent the drivers from becoming disorientated due to spinning for example.

Stamford Grandstand
The Stamford Grandstand is situated at the opposite of One Raffles Link, along Nicoll Highway.
Spectators who are located to the left of the grandstand will get to see cars exiting turns 7 which is probably one of the best
overtaking opportunities. The grandstand tickets are priced at SIN$1,100.00 each.

The Turns Grandstand is situated along the first 3 sets of turn making them real race's seats. The grandstand tickets are priced
at SIN$1,488.00 each.
Pit Grandstand
The Pit Grandstand is situated at the Marina Waterfront giving a breathtaking view of the Central Business District (CBF) skyline and Marina Bay.
The seating is priced at SIN$1,488.00 each.
