AirAsia is a Malaysian low-cost budget airline with its base in Kuala Lumpur. The airline operates
scheduled domestic as well as international flights. Being the first ever budget airline in the region to fully adopt
the ticketless travel and unassigned seats, Air Asia has seen rapid expansion of its flight services offered and is also very popular
due to it frequent low fare deals.
Air Asia has its main base in the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) located at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The Malaysian budget airline carrier is also setting up another hub at Penang International Airport by end of 2007.
