Yurakucho Station, 3-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, 100. Open 9am to 5p Monday through Friday; 9am to 12 noon Saturday. Closed December through January 3. Tel. (03)3201-3331.

Make sure you pick up TIC excellent map of Tokyo; you have to ask for it. The office has extensive travel information on all of Japan. They tend to give out standard brochures, but if you ask them specific questions, they’ll get information for you. TIC has a Welcome Inn Reservation Center where, once in Japan, you must go in person to request reservations at moderately priced accommodations all over Japan. The reservation center doesn’t operate on Saturday mornings.

Shinjuku Station: Information Bureau of Tokyo is located near the Exit and another one is near the West Exit. Open 9am to 6pm. Cla Sunday.

Tokyo Station: Information Bureau of Tokyo is near the Yaesu Open 9am to 6pm. Closed Sunday.
